Meet the Team Behind this Guide

This guide to the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) was created as a project for the Minnesota Interfaith Power and Light (MNIPL) nonprofit organization by the following four scholars as part of their internship for the Morehead-Cain Civic Collaboration summer.

  • Eleanor Blount is a rising sophomore at UNC-Chapel Hill pursuing a major in Public Policy and a minor in Business Administration.

    Her favorite memory as an MNIPL intern was meeting and interviewing community members and learning new perspectives about the communities affected by the Xcel energy pipeline.

  • Esha Agarwal is a rising sophomore at UNC Chapel Hill pursuing a major in Environmental Health Sciences and a minor in Chemistry.

    Her favorite memory as an MNIPL intern was attending the Headwaters gathering, speaking with the elders, hearing traditional indigenous music, and seeing real-world impact from MNIPL’s work. She also enjoyed attending staff meetings and having pizza with everyone each Tuesday.

  • Elias Guedira is a rising sophomore at UNC Chapel Hill pursuing a major in Health Policy and Management and a double minor in French and Journalism.

    His favorite memory as an MNIPL intern is attending the MNCIFA celebration and volunteering at the Headwaters gathering.

  • Kyran Taylor is a rising sophomore at UNC Chapel Hill pursuing a double major in Computer Science and Advertisement & Public Relations, as well as a minor in Entrepreneurship.

    His favorite memory as an MNIPL intern is capturing unique and unforgettable moments throughout the internship and especially at the Headwaters gathering on his camera.
